About Relife Care Centre
A rehabilitation and de-addiction centre in Mangadu, Chennai — built on dignity, honesty about what treatment can do, and support that continues after discharge.
Treatment that treats the person, not just the substance
Relife Care Centre was set up to do one thing properly: give families in Chennai a place they can trust when addiction has taken over a home.
Anyone who has looked for a rehabilitation centre knows how uncomfortable the search is. Some places will not let you see the rooms. Some will not put the cost in writing. Some promise a cure in fifteen days, which no honest centre can promise. Families who are already frightened end up making a large decision with almost no information.
We run this centre on the opposite principle. Come and see it. Ask what the daily routine is. Ask who the counsellors are and what they are qualified in. Ask for the full cost before you commit to anything. A centre that is doing the work properly has no reason to avoid any of those questions.
Four things we hold to
The person is not the addiction
Nobody here is spoken to as a failure. Shame is not a treatment method — it is one of the reasons people hide the problem for years before anyone gets help.
No promises we cannot keep
There is no cure that works in fifteen days, and no guarantee against relapse. What we can offer is a proper programme, honest assessment and support that continues after discharge.
The whole household is affected
Partners, parents, siblings and children get their own sessions. Recovery that the family does not understand rarely survives the first difficult month at home.
Confidential, without exception
Enquiries and treatment records stay within the admissions and clinical team. Nothing goes to employers, neighbours or anyone you have not authorised.
Discharge is not the finish line
Most relapses happen in the first six months. That is precisely why follow-up, review sessions and family check-ins are built into the programme rather than sold separately.
Visit before you decide
Families are welcome to see the rooms, the kitchen and the daily schedule before admitting anyone. We would rather you checked than guessed.

What treatment can and cannot do
Treatment can make withdrawal safe. It can give a person the space to think clearly for the first time in years. It can teach the family what to do differently. It can build a routine and a plan that make staying sober realistic instead of a matter of daily willpower.
What it cannot do is remove the risk of relapse entirely, or work on someone who has not, at some point, decided for themselves that they want it. Recovery is not a fifteen-day procedure. It is a change that is worked at, supported, and sometimes restarted.
Any centre that tells you otherwise is selling you something. We would rather tell you the truth on the first phone call.
