If you cannot talk right now
Many people call us from outside the house, or from the car, because there is no private moment at home. If now is not a safe time to talk, leave four details and choose when we should call.
We ask for nothing about the person's health at this stage. Name, number, who needs support, and a time. That is all.
If this is an emergency
If someone has collapsed, had a fit, taken an overdose or is at risk of harming themselves, do not wait for a callback. Call 108 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.

Visiting and admission
Can we visit before admitting someone?
Yes, and we encourage it. Call ahead so a counsellor is free to show you the rooms, the kitchen and the daily schedule, and to answer your questions properly rather than in a rush.
What should we bring at the time of admission?
An ID proof for the person being admitted and for the family member accompanying them, any current medications with their prescriptions and strips, previous medical or discharge records if there are any, and a set of everyday clothes and toiletries. If you are unsure, ask on the phone before you travel.
How do we reach the centre from Chennai Central or the airport?
